제1회 시흥 독립출판 페어, ‘보따리 책장’ 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시는 ‘제1회 시흥 독립출판 페어’ ‘보따리 책장’을 개최한다.

10월 4일부터 5일까지 이틀간 맑은물상상누리에서 경기도 공모사업인 ‘청년공동체 활동 지원’ 사업의 지원을 받아 운영되며 청년들의 지역 활동 기반을 마련하고 지역 활성화를 도모하기 위해 마련됐으며, 2024년에 선정된 공동체 ‘보행 공간’에서 주최한다.

‘보따리 책장’은 옛날 보따리장수가 지방에 다양한 물건을 전해주듯 책을 통해 문화와 정서, 영감을 교류하는 의미를 담고 있다. 독립출판물 판매와 더불어 작가와 독자가 만나는 축제로서 문화 활성화를 꾀하고자 추진된다.

행사는 1부 독립출판 북 페어와 2부 커뮤니티 파티로 구성돼 있으며, 맑은물상상누리비전타워에서 진행된다.

1부 독립출판 북페어는 12시부터 17시까지 부스 운영과 워크숍으로 진행되며 특히 유무인 부스 시스템을 통해 작가들이 부스를 벗어나 자유롭게 축제를 즐기면서 독자들과 자연스러운 만남이 이뤄질 수 있도록 했다.

2부 커뮤니티 파티는 17시부터 20시까지 이어지며, 시흥에서 쉽게 접하기 어려운 인디 아티스트의 공연이 진행된다. 4일에는 낭독회와 독립영화 상영회, 5일에는 전자음악 공연이 열린다.
