[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 오경희기자] 이천시 팻축제가 이천 예스파크 대공연장에서 열렸다.

28일~29일 양일간 진행되는 팻축제는 행복한 동행을 주제로 이천시 주최, 한국애견연맹이 함께한 제2회 펫축제 개막식행사에는 김경희 시장을 비롯해 송석준 국회의원,이천시의회 의원 등,수의사협회장,시몬스부사장,농협중앙회이천지부조합, 반려동물 관계자등 300여 명이 참석해 제2회 펫축제를 축하했다.

또한 이번 축제는 건강검진,훈련상담 등 반려인과 반려견들을 위한 52개 부스와 30개 이상의 알찬 프로그램으로 반려인들에게 많은 정보제공 과 호응을 받았다.

이날 김경희 시장은 “반려동물을 돌보는 것은 따뜻한 사랑 뿐만아니라 올바른 돌봄과 배려가 더 중요할 것이다.이번 축제를 통해 반려동물 가족여러분들이 유익한 정보를 접하면서 반려동물과 함께하는 삶이 얼마나 특별하고 의미있는지를 느끼는 시간이 되었으면 좋겠다. 앞으로 이천시는 반려동물과 사람이 함께 행복하게 공존하는 도시로 나아가기위해 더욱 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.

이은 반려동물 행동교정 프로그램 의 강사 도그피아 애견훈련학교 이주상 소장은 강의후 “비반려인과 반려인들이 같이 행복한 반려문화를 만들기 위해서는 모든 사회구성원과 사회적 합의를 거치는 과정이 필요한데 예전은 사회문제로 동물학대를 주로 다뤘다면, 지금은 보호자의무 법률이 나오는 것으로 보아 현재 우리나라 반려동물문화도 그러한 과정이 진행중인것 같다. 애견훈련 관련해서는 “훈련의 목적은 문제행동을 제한하는 것으로 체벌이 필요할때는 체벌을 해도 된다.” 라고 말했다. 또한 이번에 개최된 펫축제 관련된 소감으로 많은 구성과 내용이 잘 짜여져있고 규모면에서도 만족스럽고 훌륭하다“라며 “이천시 펫축제 통해 반려문화가 한층더 발전되길 바란다”고 덧붙였다.

한편 행사는 낯 더위에도 불구하고 이천 시민외에도 타 시민들의 관심사를 높인 가운데, 남양주의 안여진(24세)씨는 오늘 행사에서 “즐길거리가 있고 팝업스토어등 구경거리가 있어서 넘 좋았다” 며 "앞으로도 펫축제가 많이 열렸으면 좋겠다"라고 소감을 전했다.
