[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 경기도와 경기복지재단, 한국갤럽이 5일부터 경기도 거주 만 65세 이상 노인 3,500명 대상으로 ‘2024년 경기도 노인실태조사’를 실시한다.

5일 경기도에 따르면 도는 이번 조사를 통해 경기도 노인의 생활실태와 욕구를 파악하고 노인특성의 변화추이를 예측함으로써 향후 초고령사회에 대비한 체계적인 통계자료를 구축해 경기도 노인복지종합계획 수립에 활용한다고 밝혔다.

도에서는 노인인구의 급격한 증가에 따라 경기도에 거주하고 있는 노인실태조사 필요성이 증가해 2021년도에 최초로 경기도 노인실태조사를 실시했고, 3년 주기로 올해 두 번째로 하는 설문조사를 통해 지난 3년간 경기도 노인의 변화를 확인할 계획이다.

방문 조사는 ㈜한국갤럽을 통해 5일부터 진행하며, 전문조사원은 표본으로 추출된 노인가구를 방문해 ▲인구사회학적 영역 ▲건강상태 ▲경제활동 ▲주택 및 주거환경 ▲여가활동 및 가족사회관계 ▲노년인식 및 노인인권 등 6대 영역에 대해 조사하고, 향후 심층적 분석을 위해 전문가 집단을 구성해 자문회의도 추진할 예정이다.

또한, 이번 조사 항목에서는 ‘간병 서비스 이용 현황’, ‘노인 스마트 기기 사용’, ‘죽음과 장례문화에 대한 인식’ 등 도 정책 여건을 반영한 설문 문항을 신규 개발하여 향후 도 정책수립에 반영할 예정이다.

실태조사는 올해 9월까지 진행되며, 경기복지재단에서 실태조사 결과 및 기존 연구자료 비교․분석, 정책 도출 과정 등을 거쳐 11월 말에 최종 결과보고서를 출간하게 된다.
