[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이귀선기자] 안성시는 지난 28일 탄소중립 사회 이행과 녹색성장 추진을 위해 ‘안성시 2050 탄소중립 녹색성장위원회’를 구성하고 위촉식과 회의를 개최했다.

위원회는 총 20명이며 공동위원장인 김보라 안성시장과 당연직 위원으로 시 소속 국장급 이상 공무원 6명과 위촉직 위원으로 각 분야의 전문가, 시민 등 13명을 공개모집을 통해 구성됐다.

이날 위촉식에서 이상영(안성시지속가능발전협의회 상임회장) 위원을 공동위원장으로 선출하고, 안성시 탄소중립 추진 현황에 대한 설명과 대화를 가졌다.

탄소중립녹색성장위원회는 ▲탄소중립 사회로의 이행과 녹색성장의 추진을 위한 정책의 기본방향 ▲안성시 탄소중립 비전 및 감축목표의 설정 ▲탄소중립 기본계획의 수립 변경 및 그 시행에 관한 사항 ▲탄소중립 기본계획의 추진상황 점검 결과 ▲탄소중립 사회로의 이행과 녹색성장에 관한 조례 행정계획 ▲기후위기 적응대책의 수립 시행 및 추진상황 점검에 관한 사항을 심의·의결한다.

김보라 안성시장은 “우리에게 시간이 많지 않은 만큼 안성시에 나아갈 정책의 방향들을 설정하고 잘 진행되고 있는지에 대한 모니터링과 시민 여러분들과 함께 할 수 있는 일들에 대한 제안을 해주시길 바란다”라고 말했다.
