[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이귀선기자] 이민근 안산시장은 21일 오전 시장 주재로 비상진료대책 점검 회의를 개최했다. 

최근 의료계의 집단사직으로 의료공백이 우려되는 가운데, 안산시가 양 보건소를 중심으로 24시간 비상진료대책 상황실을 운영하는 등 진료 공백에 따른 선제적 조치 취지를 전했다.

21일 시에 따르면 회의에는 근로복지공단 안산병원, 단원병원, 한도병원, 사랑의병원 등 관내 응급의료기관도 함께 참석해 운영상황 점검 및 대응체계 구축 등 비상진료대책을 함께 논의했다.

이민근 시장은 회의에서 의료공백 발생 시 시민의 건강권 보호를 위해 보건소 비상진료대책 상황실을 중심으로 철저하게 대응해 줄 것을 지시했다.

안산시는 진료 공백을 방지하고 시민 불편을 최소화하기 위해 상록수보건소, 단원보건소 각각에 24시간 비상진료대책 상황실을 설치해 운영하고 있다. 비상진료대책 상황실에서는 관내 수련병원 등 의료기관 동향을 수시로 확인해 대응하고 있다.

이와 함께 공공의료기관인 근로복지공단 안산병원과의 협조를 통해 환자 쏠림 현상 등 상황 발생 시 도움을 받을 수 있도록 비상진료체계를 사전에 구축했다.

안산시는 앞으로 의료계 상황을 상시 모니터링하고 유기적으로 대응하는데 총력을 기울일 방침이다.

이민근 안산시장은 “의료공백은 시민 건강과 안전에 직결되는 문제”라며 “관내 의료기관과의 협조를 통해 필수 의료 등 분야에서 진료 공백이 발생하지 않도록 철저히 대응할 것”이라고 말했다.
