[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이귀선기자] 용인특례시는 올해 조기폐차 보조금 지원 신청을 23일부터 받는다고 16일 밝혔다.

조기폐차 보조금은 미세먼지 발생 원인인 자동차의 배출가스를 줄이기 위해 차량이나 건설기계를 조기에 폐차하는 경우 지원한다. 올해부터는 출고 당시 DPF(배출가스저감장치)를 부착한 배출가스 4등급 경유 차량도 신청할 수 있다.

총중량 3.5톤 미만 차량은 ▲신청일 기준 대기관리권역 또는 용인특례시에 6개월 이상 연속 등록한 차량과 건설기계 ▲정부·지자체 지원으로 배출가스저감장치를 부착하거나 저공해엔진으로 개조한 사실이 없는 경유 차량과 건설기계 ▲등록원부상 정기검사 기간이 유효한 차량과 건설기계 등의 조건을 모두 충족해야 신청할 수 있다.

총중량 3.5톤 이상 차량·건설기계는 6개월 이상 소유한 경우 가능하다.

보조금 상한액은 총중량 3.5톤 미만 차량을 기준으로 배출가스 5등급 차량은 300만원, 배출가스 4등급 차량은 800만원이다. 지급액은 상한액을 넘지 않는 범위에서 보험개발원 차량 기준가액을 기준으로 총중량 3.5톤 미만 승용차는 50%, 그 외 자동차는 70%이고, 총중량 3.5톤 이상 차량은 100% 전액을 지원한다.
