[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 학교 교육활동을 적극 지원하는 ‘교육활동 중심 새 학년 준비 지원’을 추진한다. 

 

14일 도교육청에 따르면 14일 ‘현장 공감 새 학년 준비 지원 계획’을 발표하고 ▲새 학년 준비 기간 운영 ▲학교 교육활동 내실화를 위한 교육과정 및 행정 지원 ▲공문없는 날(달) 정책 개편 ▲공문서 기반의 효율적 교육행정시스템 구축을 위한 구체적 내용을 안내했다.

 

우선 새 학년 준비 기간(2024. 2. 19.(월)∼2. 23.(금))을 안내해 학교의 안정적인 교육과정 운영을 지원한다.

 

학교는 교직원 일정 및 학교 상황 등을 고려해 준비 기간 내에 자율적으로 세부 일정 수립이 가능하며, 새 학년 준비를 위한 교육과정 계획 수립과 편성을 안정적으로 준비할 수 있다.

 

도교육청과 교육지원청은 해당 기간에 학교가 교육활동 준비에 전념할 수 있도록 공문 발송 및 출장 자제에 협조한다. 이와 함께 교원 인사 발표와 역량 강화 연수, 학교 교육과정 반영에 필요한 각종 정책과 사업을 학교가 적기에 반영할 수 있도록 사전에 안내한다.

 

도교육청은 지난 1월, 현장 의견을 수렴해 수요일 공문 없는 날 폐지, 3월 공문 없는 달을 공문 없는 주간(3. 1.∼3. 20.)으로 개선해 추진하겠다고 안내했다.

 

이는 학교 자율성 확보와 교육활동 전념 문화 조성을 위해 시행한 것으로, 학교가 특정 요일 제한 없이 자율적으로 협의하고 연구하는 문화를 조성하는 데 기여할 수 있다.

 

또한 공문 없는 달 축소로 학교는 학교 교육과정에 전념하면서 필요한 정보와 자료를 적기에 안내받을 수 있다. 이에 따라 전입(신규)교사 대상 연수도 조기 추진이 가능해 학교가 새 학년 교육과정을 보다 안정적으로 운영할 수 있게 된다.

공문서 감축을 위한 공문게시제 중점 추진과 K-에듀파인 외부공문 관리기능을 적용해 단순 안내나 홍보성 공문은 학교에 자동 게시토록 했다. 이에 따라 학교는 연간 2~3천여 건의 공문 접수(처리)가 줄어들 것으로 보여 학교의 행정업무 경감에도 도움이 될 것으로 예상하고 있다.

 

이 밖에도 학교 자체 생산문서 감축 등 행정업무 효율화를 위해 학교에 위임전결규정 예시(안)을 보급하고, 공문서 대시보드 서비스를 개통해 학교별 공문서 생산현황 분석이 가능하도록 지원한다.

 

도교육청 김승호 학교업무개선담당관은 “모든 업무개선의 중심은 학교가 교육활동에 전념할 수 있는 여건을 조성하는 것에 있다”면서 “앞으로도 학교를 어렵게 하는 규정이나 규제, 제도를 면밀하게 검토하고 개선 방안을 모색해 학교 교육활동을 적극 지원할 것”이라고 말했다.
