이천시, 미사용 지하수 방치공(관정) 원상복구 지원사업 추진

13일 시에 따르면 방치공이란 지하수 개발·이용 과정에서 수량 부족 등으로 종료시킨 후 원상복구가 제대로 되지 않고 방치된 관정 및 소유자 변경 또는 토지주 허가 없이 설치돼 사용 후 방치된 지하수 관정 등 소유주가 불분명한 관정이며, 원상복구란 지하수 시설 또는 토지에 오염물질의 유입을 막고 사람의 보건 및 안전에 위험이 없도록 지하수 시설을 해체하고 해당 토지를 적절하게 되메우는 것을 말한다.

 

이에 이천시는 2022년부터 22개소의 방치공을 원상복구 하였으며, 2024년에는 방치공 및 미등록 지하수 현장조사와 병행하여 원상복구 사업을 추진한다. 사업기간은 2024년 2월부터 8개월간 진행할 예정이며, 사업비 4천5백만원으로 도비 50%을 지원받아 소규모 지하수 약 60개소에 대하여 원상복구할 방침이다.
