[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이귀선기자] 용인특례시의회 박병민 의원은 지난 19일 오후 3시 대회의실에서 '용인시 청년농업인과의 정책간담회'를 열었다.

이날 간담회는 박병민 의원의 진행으로 김진석, 기주옥 의원과 이현미 미미쌀농 대표 외 관내 청년농업인 10명, 시 농업정책과, 농업기술센터 자원육성과 관계자 공무원들이 참석했다.

이번 간담회에서 참석자들은 시 관계공무원으로부터 내년에 추진되는 각종 사업에 대한 설명을 듣고, 질의응답 시간을 갖는 등 다양한 의견을 나누는 소통의 장이 됐다.

농업정책과는 농업 발전을 이끌어나갈 농업경영인을 발굴하고 종합적 지원을 통한 농업인력 육성에 대한 정책사업에 대한 설명을 했다. 자원육성과는 ｢용인시 청년농업인 육성 및 지원에 관한 조례｣에 따른 인재 발굴, 교육·컨설팅 등의 지원 현황 및 향후 추진계획에 대한 설명을 했다.

김진석 의원은 "각종 사업에 대한 불편사항과 개진된 의견에 대해 공감하며, 용인시 농업 발전을 위한 좀 더 현실적인 사업이 추진될 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.

기주옥 의원은 "이 자리를 계기로 청년농업인들과 자주 소통하며 용인시 농업 발전에 힘쓰며 효율적으로 사업이 이루어질 수 있도록 함께 하겠다"고 말했다.

박병민 의원은 "기존의 용인시 청년농업인 육성 및 지원에 관한 조례 중 청년농업인의 나이 및 지원 사업 등에 대한 정비의 필요성을 느껴 개정 등의 준비에 만전을 기할 것"이라고 말했다.
