[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이귀선기자] 황미상 용인특례시 의원(더불어민주당)이 12일 용인시 지역아동센터 연합회로부터 감사패를 받았다.

황 의원은 투철한 사명감에 기초해 지역아동센터의 발전과 이용 아동들의 복지 향상을 위해 평소 많은 노력을 기울여 온 공로를 인정받아 수상의 영광을 안았다.

특히 지난 2월 황 의원이 대표발의한 ｢용인시 지역아동센터운영 등에 관한 조례｣의 일부 개정 내용이 높게 평가받았다.

해당 조례는 지역아동센터의 사업비 지원 항목을 신설해 사업의 원활한 추진을 도모하고, 아동복지 서비스의 안정적 추진을 위한 근거를 마련함으로써 아동의 복지증진을 통해 아동이 건강하고 행복하게 자랄 수 있도록 하고자 개정됐다.

해당 조례를 통해 지역아동센터 운영비, 지역아동센터 종사자 인건비 등 지역아동센터 사업의 원활한 추진을 위한 사업비를 지원받을 수 있게 됐다.

황 의원은 “지역아동센터는 맞벌이 부모나 한부모 가정 등 방과 후에 집에서 돌봐줄 사람이 마땅치 않은 아이들을 위해 꼭 필요한 곳”이라며 “앞으로도 돌봄 최전선에 있는 지역아동센터의 원활한 운영을 위해 최선을 다할 것”이라고 수상소감을 밝혔다.
