[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이귀선기자] 용인특례시의회 유진선(신갈동,영덕1동,영덕2동,기흥동,서농동/더불어민주당) 의원이 7일 경기도의회 대회의실에서 (사)한국공공사회학회의 주최로 열린 ‘2023 대한민국 공공성실천 대상 시상식’에서 의정대상을 수상했다.

유진선 의원은 투철한 사명감과 남다른 열정으로 공공성 강화를 위한 입법활동과 사회적 약자를 위한 의정활동을 실천해 온 공로를 인정받아 수상의 영광을 안았다. 

유진선 의원은 "공공성실천 대상 시상식에서 의정대상이라는 뜻깊은 상을 받게 돼 영광이며, 이번 상은 앞으로도 시민들을 위해 더욱 열심히 하라는 격려의 의미로 주신 상이라 생각한다"며 "시민의 대변인으로서 언제나 시민의 목소리에 귀 기울이며 용인의 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.  

한편, (사)한국공공사회학회(대표 김상돈)는 공공성 향상에 기여한 국회의원, 자치단체장, 광역 및 기초 의회 의원, 학자, 언론인, 사회활동가 등을 선정해 대한민국 공공성실천 대상을 수여했다.
