평택시, 2023년 장애인 평생학습도시 성과공유회

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이귀선기자] 평택시(시장 정장선)는 ‘2023년 장애인 평생학습도시 성과공유회’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

지난 1일 평택시 평생학습센터(북부교육장) 1층 대강당에서 장애인 관련 단체장과 장애인 학습자 등이 참석한 가운데진행된 이날 장애인 평생학습도시는 성과보고 및 사례공유와 난타 공연, 아카펠라 공연, 칼림바 공연 등 1년간 배운 학습 결과가 발표됐으며, ‘스노우볼 만들기’ 체험도 함께 운영됐다고 전했다.

정장선 평택시장은 “올해 장애인 평생학습도시로 선정돼 국비 1억 원을 확보하여 지역 장애인들을 위한 소외없는 교육 기회를 제공했다”며 “앞으로도 장애와 편견 없는 보편적 교육 실현을 통해 모두가 행복한 평생학습도시를 만들어 가겠다”고 전했다.

이원희 한경국립대학교 총장은 “앞으로도 대학인프라를 활용한 장애인 평생학습도시 운영 지원을 통해 장애인들의 사회참여 기회의 발판을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.
