[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 30일 북부청사 대강당에서 ‘2023 경기 진로교육 성과공유회’를 개최했다. 올 한 해 도교육청과 31개 시‧군이 함께 이뤄낸 진로교육 성과를 나누고 돌아보기 위해서다.

 

이 자리에는 임 교육감을 비롯해 진로직업 기관 관계자, 25개 교육지원청 진로전담교사와 31개 시․군 진로체험지원센터 담당자까지 모두 140여 명이 참여했다.

 

성과공유회는 ▲2023 진로교육 성과 전시와 활동 영상 시청 ▲주제별 진로‧창업 교육 강의 및 특색 사례 나눔 ▲경기 진로교육 여론조사 분석 결과 안내 ▲2024 경기 진로교육 정책 방향과 주요 사업 안내 ▲2024 진로교육 내실화를 위한 분과별 담당자 협의회 순으로 진행했다.

 

도교육청은 성과공유회를 토대로 ▲진로교육 담당자 역량 강화 ▲효율적 진로교육 업무 추진 지원 ▲경기 진로교육 성과 및 공동 비전 공유 ▲협력과 성찰의 2024 경기 진로교육 추동력 확보에 힘쓸 계획이다.

 

향후 25개 교육지원청 중심의 네트워크 활성화로 지역별 특색 있는 진로교육 체제를 구축하고, 일상적 진로교육 확대 및 지역과 학교가 균형을 이루는 경기진로교육 생태계 구축에 적극 노력해 나갈 방침이다.

 

임 교육감은 인사말에서 “직업을 얘기할 때 ‘직’을 좇으면 ‘업’이 없어지고, ‘업’을 좇으면 ‘직’이 생긴다는 말이 있다”면서 “학생들이 직의 자리를 쫓아가는 것이 아닌, 무엇을 준비해야 하고 꾸준히 노력해야 하는지가 중요하다”고 강조했다.

 

이어 “이 자리는 경기 진로교육에 많은 경험 있으신 분들이 모여 공유하고 비전을 나누는 시간”이라며 “경기교육이 올바른 길 갈 수 있고, 학생들이 할 수 있는 일을 찾을 수 있도록 적극 알려주시고 멘토의 역할을 담당해 주시길 바란다”며 당부의 말을 전했다.
