평택시 인플루엔자 겨울철 유행 대비, 예방접종 서두르세요

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이귀선기자] 평택시(시장 정장선)는 겨울철 인플루엔자가 본격적으로 유행함에 따라 시민들에게 인플루엔자 예방수칙을 준수하고, 인플루엔자 예방접종에 참여할 것을 당부했다.  

특히 65세 이상 어르신, 어린이, 임신부 등 고위험군은 인플루엔자 감염 시 중증화 우려가 있어 예방을 위해서 예방접종이 중요하며, 아직 예방접종을 받지 않는 경우 빠른 시일 내에 예방접종을 완료할 것을 권고하고 있다.  

이에 평택시는 65세 이상 어르신, 어린이, 임신부 등 고위험군에 인플루엔자 무료 예방접종 지원사업을 실시하고 있으며, 가까운 위탁의료기관에서 접종할 수 있다.  

평택보건소 관계자는 “인플루엔자 예방을 위해 65세 이상 어르신, 어린이 등 고위험군은 대상자별 권장 접종 기간 내에 예방접종을 완료하고, 마스크 착용 및 올바른 손 씻기 등 예방수칙을 준수해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
