평택시 송탄보건소, 공중이용시설 전면금연 합동 조사

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이귀선기자] 평택시 송탄보건소는 지난 17일까지 한 달 동안 국민건강증진 및 간접흡연 폐해 예방을 위한 ‘2023년 공중이용시설 전면금연 합동 조사’를 실시했다고 밝혔다.  

송탄보건소는 시민단체(바르게살기운동 평택시협의회, 중앙자율방범순찰대, 송탄모범운전자회)들로 구성된 금연 지도원들과 함께 3개 조로 합동 단속반을 편성하여 관내 금연구역 7707개소 중 803개소를 대상으로 주야간 지도점검을 시행했다.  

지도점검 대상은 공공청사, 학교, 의료기관, 음식점, PC방, 공원 등 국민건강증진법 및 평택시 조례에 따른 금연구역이며, 송탄보건소는 그간 흡연 민원이 자주 발생했던 장소를 중심으로 ▲금연구역 표지판 또는 스티커 부착 여부 ▲시설 내 흡연실 설치 시 설치 기준 준수 여부 ▲전자담배를 포함한 금연구역 내 흡연행위 등을 중점 점검했다.   

보건소 관계자는 “이번 공중이용시설 전면금연 합동 조사 실시 결과 관내 금연구역 곳곳에서 준수사항이 잘 이행되고 있었으나, 앞으로도 상시 지도점검 단속 강화를 통해 공중이용시설 전면금연 문화 정착을 위해 힘쓰겠다”라며 “업주 등 관리자분들과 시민분들의 많은 관심과 협조 부탁드린다”라고 당부했다.
