한국도자재단은 곤지암도자공원 ‘참나무 언덕’에 조성한 황화 코스모스 꽃밭이 만개함에 따라 도민을 대상으로 무료 개장에 나섰다.

경기도에 따르면 곤지암도자공원은 조선시대 왕실용 백자 생산지인 경기도 광주에 위치한 약 44만㎡ 부지의 도자 특화 테마공원으로 경기도자박물관, 광주 삼리 구석기 유적지 등을 비롯해 아름다운 자연환경과 다양한 도자 문화를 즐길 수 있는 복합문화공간이다.

‘참나무 언덕’은 명칭 그대로 높이 18m, 폭 15m 크기의 수령(樹齡) 100여 살인 참나무 한 그루 주위를 둘러싼 곤지암도자공원 관광지 중 하나다. 재단은 매년 유채꽃, 메밀꽃 등 3천여 평 규모의 다양한 꽃밭을 조성하는데 관광객 사이에서 사진 명소로 꼽힌다.

윤광석 한국도자재단 상임이사는 “뜨거운 햇빛과 태풍을 견디고 피어나 황금빛 물결로 가득 찬 곤지암도자공원 ‘황화 코스모스 꽃밭’에서 가족과 연인 등 소중한 사람과 함께 좋은 추억을 만들어 가길 바란다”라고 말했다.

한편, 곤지암도자공원 내 경기도자박물관에서는 오는 11월 12일까지 《신양제기(新樣祭器): 하늘과 땅을 잇는 도자기》 기획전을 관람할 수 있다.
