[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 경기도가 복지사각지대에 놓인 이웃을 제보할 ‘경기도 희망 보듬이’ 1만 명을 연말까지 상시 모집한다.

‘경기도 희망 보듬이’는 복지사각지대에 놓인 도민을 찾아 긴급복지 핫라인, 긴급복지 콜센터(120-0), 경기복G톡(카카오톡 채널), 긴급복지 콜센터 누리집에 제보하는 역할을 한다.

경기도에 따르면 지역주민들과 접촉이 잦은 통장 등 이웃 중심의 ‘명예 사회복지공무원’과 달리 경기도 독자적으로 운영하는 희망 보듬이는 복지 단체 종사자, 공공기관, 긴급복지 신고의무자, 생활업종 종사자 등을 중심으로 촘촘한 민관 협력망을 구축하는 게 핵심이다. 일반 도민도 참여할 수 있다. 도는 희망 보듬이를 올해 1만 명에서 2025년 5만 명으로 확대할 방침이다.
