[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 임태희 경기도교육감은 “나의 권리가 소중한 만큼 타인의 권리도 소중하다”며 모든 학생의 학습권을 위한 교육활동 보호를 강조했다.

 

19일 됴 교육청에 따르면 임 교육감은 이날 수원 남부신청사에서 열린‘교육활동 보호, 우리 모두를 위하여’라는 주제로 열린 현장 공감 프로그램 소통 토크에 참석해 이같이 밝혔다.

 

현장 공감 프로그램은 학생 스스로 교육활동 보호 문제를 고민하고  해결하기 위해 마련했으며, 사전 신청한 초·중·고 학생 150여 명이 참여했다.

 

도교육청은 지난해부터 학생 인권과 교권의 균형을 위해 교육공동체의 고민과 제안, 시사점을 공유하는 토론의 장을 3회째 열고 있다.

 

이번 공감 프로그램은 ▲학생 인권과 교육활동 보호 맞춤형 도전 골든벨 ▲교육감과 함께하는 소통 토크 ▲포럼연극 감상 ▲학생 분임별 토론과 고민 토크 ▲실천 다짐 나눔토크로 진행됐다.

 

임 교육감은 “다른 사람을 배려하고 다른 사람도 나와 같은 권리가 있다고 생각해야 한다”라며 “나만 옳은 것이 아니라 우리 모두에게 가장 좋아야 한다”고 말했다.

 

특히 “모든 학생의 학습권 보호를 위해 권리와 의무의 균형이 필요하다”면서 “학생인권은 모든 것을 다해도 된다는 것이 아닌 모두를 위한 균형에 책임을 부여하는 것”이라고 강조했다.

 

이어“흰색과 검은색 사이 무지개색이 있는 것처럼 다양한 생각을 볼 수 있어야 한다”며 “주변 사람들과 협력하고 함께 하며 함께 있을 때 행복한 사람이 되길 바란다”고 당부했다.

 

임 교육감은 ‘교권 향상을 위한 제도와 규범이 있는가’라는 한 학생의 질문에 “학생 인권, 교육활동 침해 등 학교 안 갈등을 교육적으로 해결하기 위해 노력하고 있다”면서 “좋은 질문으로 교육감에게 숙제를 내주어서 답을 꼭 하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.  

 

이와 함께 이날 진행된 포럼연극에서는 관객들이 연극을 보고 직접 상황을 바꾸거나 제안해 줄거리를 새롭게 재구성했다.

 

경기도연극교육연구회 선생님들과 학생들이 학생의 학습권이 보호받지 못하는 교실의 갈등 상황을 공연하고 교권과 학생인권의 균형점을 고민하는 기회를 제공했다.

 

교육활동 보호와 학생인권을 주제로 분임별 활동과 에듀테크 활용고민 나눔, 실천 다짐 학생 선언문도 발표했다.

 

한편 도교육청은‘학생 인권 옹호관과 함께 찾아가는 교육활동 보호 예방 교육’을 실시하고 있으며, 교사 대상 현장 공감 프로그램을 하반기 운영할 예정이다.
