[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 수원전투비행장 화성이전 반대 범시민대책위원회(이하 ‘범대위’)는 수원시의 도를 넘는 경기국제공항 홍보 행위에 대하여 강력하게 규탄하고 나섰다.

30일 범시민대책위원회측에 따르면 “지난 2월 봉담읍에 설치한 ‘상생협력센터’는 시민들의 분열을 조장하고 허위 광고를 선전하고 있는 ‘혹세무민’의 완결판”이라며 “수원시가 지자체 간 경계를 넘어 화성시에 국제공항 홍보사무소를 설치한 행위는 명백한 자치권 침해이자 월권”이라고 맹렬히 비난했다.

이어 범대위는 이날 보도자료를 통해 “수원시는 수원군공항에 ‘경기남부(화성)국제공항’이라는 그럴듯한 포장을 씌어 홍보하는데 몰두하고 있다”며 “수원시가 수원군공항 화성 이전을 그토록 목을 매는 이유는 대규모 부동산 개발 이익을 얻기 위한 꼼수”라고 규정했다.

오늘 집회를 마련한 홍진선 범대위 상임위원장은 수원시의 이와 같은 행위는“겉으로는 상생협력, 속으로는 화성시민의 갈등과 분열을 조장하는 행위이다”라고 밝혔다.

또한 집회에 참석한 홍철화 서신면 이장단협의회장은 “경기국제공항 그렇게 좋으면 화성 말고 수원시에 설치하라, 화성시의 뒤통수 치는 수원시의 상생협력 홍보사무소 즉각 퇴거”를 촉구하였다.

금일 집회를 마친 범대위는 오후 1시부터 2시까지 경기도·도의회 앞에서 ‘경기국제공항관련 조례 제정’ 중지 촉구 항의 집회를 이어갔다.
