[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이귀선기자] 용인시정연구원(원장 이상대)은 ‘플랫폼시티와 용인시 지역 연계 방안’을 주제로 워크숍을 개최했다.
30일 시정연구원측에 따르면 지난 29일 미르스타디움에서 진행된 이번 워크숍은 용인시, 용인도시공사 및 학계 전문가가 모여 경기 용인 플랫폼시티 개발계획 현황을 검토하고, 플랫폼시티 개발을 고립된 섬이 아니라 주변 지역과 (함께) 동반 성장하는 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다고 취지를 밝혔다.
워크숍은 이상대 원장의 인사말을 시작으로 전문가 발표와 토론 순으로 진행되었다. 김현수 단국대 교수는 “용인플랫폼시티는 GTX 역세권, 경부고속도로 환승센터와 함께 경기남부의 반도체, MICE 산업 등 경제 거점으로서 용인행정거점과 남사·이동 및 원삼 반도체 클러스터와 연계하여 상생 발전하는 축으로 조성되어야 한다”고 제안하였다.
