수원시가 프리랜서 여성 재직 인증방안 마련 논의

 

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 수원시가 어린이집 입소 순위를 정하는 맞벌이 부부 인정 서류에서 소외당하는 여성 프리랜서의 재직 인증방안을 검토한다.

 

24일 수원특례시에 따르면 황인국 수원시 제2부시장은 23일 수원시청에서 박옥분 경기도의원, 박현준 경기비정규직지원센터 소장과 간담회를 열고 프리랜서 여성의 재직 증빙 방안을 논의했다는 취지를 밝혔다.

 

박현준 소장은 “수원시 여성 프리랜서는 4만 7000명으로 추정된다”며 “이들은 어린이집에 신청할 때 취업상태를 증명하기 힘들어 어린이집에 신청할 때 우선순위에서 밀리고 있는 상황”이라고 설명했다.

 

이어 “코로나19 시기에 프리랜서 여성들은 재직사항이나 경력을 증빙할 방법이 체계적이지 않아 재난지원금을 지원받기조차 힘들었다”고 덧붙였다.

또 시범 차원에서 시립 어린이집에서 시작하고 문제점을 분석 보완해서 확대하는 방안도 이야기했다.

 

수원시는 이를 관련 단체·전문가 등과 심의하고, 의견을 수렴한 후 추진 여부를 결정할 계획이다.

 

또 비정기 노동을 하는 여성의 실태를 조사해 단계적인 인정 범위를 설정하고 제도권 노동으로 흡수하는 중장기 방안도 검토한다.
