24일 시가 밝힌 내용에 따르면 민선 8기 공약의 하나로 추진돼 올해 처음 도입한 사업이다는 취지다.

 

이 사업은 대상자가 매달 10만원씩 저축하면 성남시가 매달 10만원씩 추가 적립해 3년 만기 후 720만원과 이자를 지급하는 방식으로 운영한다.

 

성남시 지원금이 포함된 만기금을 받을 땐, 주거자금, 전·월세, 학원비, 직업훈련 등 사용 용도를 기재한 계획서를 제출해야 한다.

 

시는 스마일 통장 사업 추진을 위해 올해 사업비 4000만원을 확보하고, 오는 3월 30일부터 4월 7일까지 대상자 42명을 모집한다.
