제9대 시흥시의회가 송미희 의장을 위시하여 반년의 시간동안 ‘일하는 의회, 행복한 시민’이라는 기조 아래 숨 가쁘게 달려왔다. 그 동안의 소감과 2023년 계묘년 의정 활동 계획에 대해 듣는 시간을 가졌다.

지난 2022년은 특히 시민 여러분께서 16명의 시흥시의원을 선택해 주신 뜻깊은 한 해였다. 보내주신 성원과 기대에 부응하고자 지방의회의 독립성과 전문성을 강화하기 위해 쉼 없이 달려왔다.
내일이 더 기대되는 시흥의 기회와 가능성을 시민들과 적극적으로 공유하고, 현장답사 및 간담회 등 조례가 발의되어 시행되기까지 조례 입안 과정을 촘촘하게 준비하여 양질의 조례를 만들고자 노력해 왔다.
