[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 수원시는 2023년 ‘생활임금’이 1만 390원(시급)으로 결정됐다고 29일 밝혔다.

이날 회의에는 강금식 고용노동부 경기지청장, 정기봉 한국노통 수원지역지부 의장, 김재옥 수원상공회의소 회장, 박사승 수원시 경제정책국장 등이 참석했으며, 수원시 노사민정협의회는 ▲최저임금 상승률 ▲생활물가 상승률 ▲도시생활근로자 평균임금 ▲내년 재정 여건 등 전반적인 경제 상황을 고려해 생활임금을 결정했다.

수원시 노사민정협의회는 지난 28일 팔달구청 상황실에서 제2차 정기회의를 열고, 내년 생활임금을 올해(1만 220원)보다 1.7% 인상하기로 의결 했다. 

수원시 관계자는 “생활임금이 민간 업체·기관으로 확산되길 바란다”며 “연대의 힘으로 지역경제 활성화, 노동권 보호를 위해 노력하는 노사민정에 감사드린다”고 말했다.
