23일 용인시청 시장실에서 열린 기탁식에는 이상일 용인특례시장을 비롯해 김춘식 용인시장학재단 이사장, 김기원 유원건축사사무소 회장 등이 참석했다.

김기원 유원건축사사무소 회장은 지난 2013년 용인시장학재단과 용인시의 미래인재 양성을 위한 업무협약을 맺고 이번 장학금까지 총 9803만원을 기탁했다.

김기원 회장은 “지역사회를 위해 좋은 일을 할 수 있다는 것에 감사함을 느끼고 있다”며 “학생들이 용인시의 미래를 밝히는 훌륭한 인재로 성장하는데 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

이상일 시장은 “용인의 미래인 우리 아이들을 위한 나눔을 오래 시간 실천해주셔서 감사하다”면서 “꿈 많은 아이들이 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 앞으로도 많은 관심을 부탁한다”고 말했다.
