[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이귀선기자] 수원시가 9월 8일 오후 6시까지 ‘2022 재능 Give! 교육 나눔! 저소득층 학원 무료 수강 연계사업’에 참여할 초·중·고등학생을 모집한다.
수원시학원연합회와 협력해 경제적인 사정으로 학원에 다니기 어려운 저소득 가정의 초·중·고등학생에게 무료로 학원 수강 기회를 제공하는 사업이다.
수원시학원연합회 소속 95개 학원(국어·영어·수학, 독서·논술, 미술, 악기 연주(드럼·피아노 등), 보컬·작곡 학원 등)이 재능기부 형식으로 참여한다. 수원시는 무료 수강 희망 학생을 모집해 최대 471명이 내년 12월까지 수강 혜택을 받도록 연계해준다.
수원시에 거주하는 국민기초생활수급자·차상위계층·저소득 한부모 가정의 초·중·고등학생, 학원 무료 수강 혜택이 필요하다고 판단해 동 행정복지센터에서 추천한 저소득 가정의 학생 등이 신청할 수 있다.
1가구당 1명만 지원받을 수 있고, 신청할 때 저소득 가정임을 증명할 수 있는 증명서 또는 동 행정복지센터 추천서를 제출해야 한다.
수원시 홈페이지 ‘시민참여→수원만민광장→공모’에 게시된 ‘2022 재능 Give! 교육 나눔! 저소득층 학원 무료 수강 연계사업’을 선택해 온라인으로 신청하거나 수원시청 교육청소년과 교육정책팀(팔달구 효원로 241)으로 방문하면 된다.
수원시 관계자는 “따뜻한 나눔과 배움의 기회를 확산하기 위해 지난 2011년부터 수원시학원연합회와 협력해 사업을 추진하고 있다”며 “수원시 홈페이지에서 신청 서식, 학원 명단 등을 확인 후 신청하면 9월 중으로 대상자를 선정해 내년 12월까지 학원 무료 수강 혜택을 제공할 예정”이라고 말했다.
