[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 김정은기자] 제5회 경기도지사배 겸 전국장애인배드민턴선수권대회가 3일 간의 열전을 마치고 29일 종료됐다고 밝혔다.

서수원칠보체육관에서 진행된 대회 기간은 26일부터 28일까지이며, 이번 대회에서는 250여 명의 선수단(선수210명, 임원40명)이 참가하여 그 동안 갈고 닦은 기량을 뽐냈다.

대한장애인배드민턴협회가 주최하고 경기도장애인배드민턴협회가 주관한 이번 대회는 경기도, 경기도장애인체육회, 문화체육관광부, 국민체육진흥공단, 복권위원회, 대한장애인체육회, 요넥스코리아, 휠라인, 국제라이온스협회, 354-B지구(수원명성‧화홍‧블루라이온스) 등의 후원을 받아 개최되었다.

이번 대회는 선수부 17개, 동호인부 8개 등 총 25개 세부종목 경기가 펼쳐졌으며, 경기도선수단은 17개 세부종목에서 2개 종목 은메달, 7개 종목 동메달을 획득하였다.
