[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 김정은기자] 용인특례시가 오는 10월까지 드림스타트 아동 및 가족을 대상으로 도자기 공예 프로그램을 운영한다.

지난 6일부터 매주 토요일 진행되고 있는 프로그램은 아이들에게 진로 탐색의 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련했다.

프로그램에는 18가족(36명)이 참여하며, 흙을 반죽하고 물레를 활용해 도자기를 빚고 색을 칠하는 활동을 통해 도자기가 만들어지는 과정을 배우고, 가족 간 소중한 추억도 쌓고 있다.

시 관계자는 "작품을 완성해 가면서 아이들이 새로운 꿈을 찾고 가족 간 친밀도를 향상하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다“며 ”앞으로도 ‘꿈이 튼튼 건치아이’, ‘우리Eye, 드림아이’ 등 취약계층 아이들의 건강한 성장을 돕기 위한 프로그램도 진행할 예정“이라고 말했다.

한편 시는 만 12세 이하의 취약계층 아이들에게 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하는 드림스타트 사업을 추진하고 있으며, 올해는 진로 탐색을 위한 프로그램을 중점적으로 운영하고 있다.
