[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 김정은 기자] 경기도가 2019년 투자 유치에 성공한 세계적 반도체장비 제조업체인 램리서치(Lam Research)가 용인 지곡일반산업단지에 연구개발(R&D)센터를 준공하고 가동에 들어간다.

26일 경기도에 따르면 램리서치는 이날 오전 용인 지곡일반산업단지에서 이한규 경기도 행정2부지사, 팀 아처(Tim Archer) 램리서치 대표이사, 박진규 산업통상자원부 제1차관, 백군기 용인시장과 기업인 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 램리서치 코리아테크놀로지센터 개소식을 열었다.

램리서치 코리아테크놀로지센터는 약 3만㎡ 규모로, 반도체 제작에 필요한 첨단 증착 및 식각 기술을 연구 개발할 예정이다.
